The Short :
Here’s our quick take on it before we share the full test report with you: powered by a pair of 300-HP Mercury V8s, the small catamaran is capable of exceeding 30 knots and it handles choppy seas very well. Tight turns are accompanied by a slight heel that may surprise those accustomed to monohull craft. Handling is made easier by the joystick, which eliminates the need for a bow thruster.
While the TH33 presents itself as a high-end day cruiser with comfortable seating and a fully equipped dashboard, it also features a heads compartment and even a cabin (albeit a small one). The deck offers almost 400 square feet (37 m²) of usable space, and we particularly liked the central passageway, the aft platform, and the mixed rigid/canvas T-Top (available as an option).
