So here comes the “monomaran,” which we tested for a few hours around the Lérins Islands during the brand’s press sea trials.
The Sea Loft 480 presents itself as a deliberately disruptive boat, both in terms of hull design and space distribution - with a large open saloon/cockpit/galley area aft and cabins forward, along with modular layouts designed either to preserve a spacious owner’s cabin in the bow or not. Primarily aimed at hoteliers and seaside tourism operators, the Sea Loft makes it possible to organize tailor-made outings (half-day trips, sunset cruises, overnight stays on board) with particularly low operating costs when fitted with the electric propulsion package, which offers a range of 15 nautical miles at 7 knots, further enhanced by 4.2 kWp of solar panels.
