James Wharram
A visionary multihull architect has passed away
Known to everyone, there’s really no need to introduce James Wharram. A naval architect and adventurer who set generations of sailors dreaming, but above all was able to convince those sailors of the relevance of multihulls for cruising long before anyone else. This leading light of the nautical world and more particularly of amateur construction has departed these shores at 93 years of age. We publish below the message from Hanneke, his companion, and we share our sorrow with her and the whole multihull family.
