A Sporty Weekender
As a leading brand in the power catamaran sector, Aquila Power Catamarans recently unveiled a new Coupe series that slots in between the Sport and Yachts models. This new range is unique in that it can be powered by outboard or inboard engines. Multihulls World was one of the first in the boating media to take the helm of the 46 Coupe for a beautiful trip offshore from the coast of Florida.
The 46 Coupe immediately displays a sporty line, rather unusual for a powercat of this size.
The nacelle is spacious enough to offer good interior comfort, but the tunnel is still a good size. Note the seagull-wing design of the nacelle floor, which stiffens the structure and absorbs any slamming from the sea.
The lines are elegant and fluid, with beautiful proportions and a large area reserved for windows and portholes.
