Priority: comfort...and volume!

Here is a model which without a doubt represents Lagoon’s most comfortable offering in this size – perhaps even too comfortable, certain people would object. But with its load-carrying capacity and the pleasure of life aboard, the 420, later offered as the 421, is quite a ‘best of’!

In the 421 version, the boat is faster. We find again the mainsheet track on the bimini, so the cockpit can be dedicated 100% to relaxation. With the exception of the davits, there are no fittings behind the coachroof: the children will appreciate this!

The galley, oriented aft, communicates with the cockpit. This can accommodate 8 guests. You can fit either a high or a low table, by changing the table top with the one in the saloon.

The nacelle enjoys generous lighting, thanks to the large portlights. These are vertical and protected by the coachroof extension, to reduce the greenhouse effect to a minimum.

3 or 4 cabins? The choice is yours. Ventilation is taken care of by three openings. The enormous hull portlight offers an unobstructed view of the horizon, but be careful not to hang the fenders here.

Do you remember the Lagoon 420? Launched in September 2006, this cat had no hang-ups about displaying a bulky coachroof and a very high freeboard. With this model, the company certainly designed its most comfort-oriented boat. A bold gamble, but one which finally paid off, as 179 Lagoon 420s were built in three years.
