The Island Catamaran 48 is a combination of paradoxical contrasts. From the outside, it look like a straight forward performance catamaran. Its main features are flat broad decks over each hull, a low, aerodynamically rounded central cabin between the hulls, a spacious and simple cockpit, and "sugar scoop" transoms.
