Sailing two-up because the children are sleeping. Sailing two-up because the children have grown up and are living their own lives. Sailing two-up simply to share the pleasure of being at sea with someone. Sailing two-up because the rest of the crew are enjoying a well-deserved rest. Finally, unless you are a fan of singlehanded sailing, you will more often than not find yourself two-up aboard for maneuvering in the four corners of the world.
