When you start the preparation phase, the voyage has already begun. You are then taking care of the final adjustments which should allow you to have a successful voyage on the open seas. The itinerary has been drawn up, the departure date decided on, and you have taken possession of your boat. All that remains is to prepare the boat itself, before casting off your mooring lines.
You have just seen in the previous pages that the choice of boat is crucial to the success of your project. However, don’t forget our chief editor’s favorite saying: ‘the right boat is the one you set off in!’
