More and more manufacturers – some of the biggest among them - are now convinced that the multipower market is growing. The arguments in favor of two or three hulls rather than just one are many: greater stability, lower fuel consumption and much more volume for the same length. Power multihulls were something still marginal a couple of decades ago, yet are now attracting former sailors, regular motorboat enthusiasts who are tired of rolling, and even newcomers to the world of boating. Multipowers also have a decisive advantage when it comes to “going green”: at lower speeds, they require little energy, which naturally predisposes them to an electric drivetrain - all the more so as their superstructures allow for the installation of a maximum area of solar panels. These multihulls with no emissions - or at least limited to those of a generator when needed - are witnessing a great boom, and we’re now dedicating a specific category to these models.
