Until a few years ago, this category was dominated by catamarans - but it’s increasingly clear that most (if not all?) builders loyal to two hulls have deserted the sub-30-foot sector. So now, it’s almost exclusively trimarans here. In most cases, thanks to a system of folding or telescopic floats, these units can fit into a standard marina slip and even be transported on the road. And these are the characteristics that lend themselves perfectly to coastal wandering and the discovery of far-off waters!
