A New Multihulls World YouTube Channel in French… and a Record Number of Boat Tests!

I gave you a sneak preview in the editorial of MW208, but now it’s official: our second YouTube channel has gone live! This latest development reflects the multi-platform approach we’ve embraced since the early days of the Internet. As for video, our original YouTube channel dates back to 2011... already 15 years ago! Today, nearly 16,000 subscribers follow our videos, and we’d like to thank you all for your continued support. More active than ever, with a steady stream of sea trials, walkthroughs, teasers, Shorts and Lives, our original channel now features more than 1,200 videos, with close to 5 million cumulative views. As our catalogue of French- and English-language content has continued to grow, however, it has become increasingly difficult to bring everything together on a single channel. Even YouTube’s algorithm seemed to lose its bearings! It was time to rethink our approach. From now on, all our French-language videos will have their own dedicated home on the new Multicoques Mag YouTube channel. Meanwhile, our original channel (now renamed Multihulls World) will continue to showcase all of our English-language content, including many exclusive videos.

This new organization will make it easier than ever to find the content you’re looking for, while providing a clearer and more enjoyable viewing experience, whatever your preferred language. On the new channel, you’ll find everything that defines the Multicoques Mag spirit: sea trials, shipyard visits, feature reports, the latest news and interviews with key players from across the multihull world. Some videos will also be released exclusively in French, giving our English-speaking audience another good reason to subscribe and enable subtitles whenever needed. So, if you haven’t already, we invite you to subscribe to both channels, (re)discover the landmark videos already available on Multicoques Mag, and enjoy all the new content we’ll be publishing in the months ahead.

And as good news rarely comes alone, this issue also sets a new record. Across its 144 pages, you’ll find eight brand-new multihull tests plus one used-boat review - the highest number of boat tests ever published in a single issue since the magazine was launched in 1985. The passion for multihulls has never been stronger... and there’s no better place to experience it!
